Looking for some good speakers for a 2000 jeep Cherokee, most likely they will be 6.5'' in the fronts and rears, out of the three should I get? Not sure of the differences of each. I usually listen to rock but sometimes rap. I also have 2 15" MA audio's powered by a 1200watt hifonics amp.

go with components in the front and coax in the rear. what kind of amp do you have for powering the speakers (front)? you don't really need to power the rear speakers. spend more money on getting a good front stage, the refill isn't really important.

Components have a midbass speaker and a separate tweeter and it comes with a crossover.

are you using the Hifonics Brutus BXI1206D for the subs?

Yeah I got that amp, it does an alright job with those subs so i'm just gonna keep using those. I wanted some pretty loud and awesome sounding speakers, which would you recommend?

that all depends on your budget and what kind of power your planning to put to them

I can spend prolly $250.00 on the components and $150 at the most for the coaxials and I can get another hifonics amp, ( I think its a 4 ch and 700 watts or somewhere around that for it) for cheap.

400 just for speakers or for speakers and a 4ch?

400 for just speakers is a nice budget :D

like CC said up front is where you want to have a good set of speakers. the rear can run off of radio power, but it's totally up to you.

i my self run all my speakers off of amp power. my rears get 50 watts each and my front 4 get 100 each.

    yes. 100 x4(front) 50 x2(rear) 600 x1 sub.:D

i like polk speakers but it's really up to your ears. we all hear differently so if you can go take a listen to some sets at some audio shops then look online for them way cheaper.

some to consider in the front

    polk
    infinity
    phoenix gold rd's
    alpine

Also the rears dont have to get as much power as the fronts so they dont need to be really expensive.just good sounding. coaxials are good for that.

thats a woofer and tweet in the same plane.

I have been looking that the Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1, Alpine SPX-17REF, Alpine SPR-17S, or the eD9.65i system. I don't have any big audio place around that carries all these so I couldn't listen to them, so ordering them is all I can do. Which ones do most people prefer?

I'm using DLS and I love the sound. highs aren't bright and the midbass is pretty good. but it's really a personal preference.
