I am having the worst time trying to set up the bluetooth on this HU. In the directions it says to press the up/down arrow until you reach "SEARCH" or "WAIT". I have been searching the menu for the past hour and can not find it at all. If anyone has had any previous experience with the model I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
I read this on crutchfield: Note: The Clarion CZ509 is not compatible with all Bluetooth enabled phones or audio players. Check Clarion.com for complete list of compatible phones and players. I don't know what you are trying to connect to the HU for the bluetooth but i think you should see if what you are trying to connect with the stereo is compatible.
Update Sorry for leaving out the most important part of what I am trying to connect to the HU. I am actually trying to connect a LG VX9700 Verizon cell phone, so I can use the hands free bluetooth option. The problem is I cant find the menu titled "SEARCH" or "WAIT". I can find the pairing menu, but thats as far as I get.
