I'll be finishing my builds today and I want to TRY to make it look really nice. Since there will be a space on the right side because there is a wheel well hump in the back i thinking of cladding the box so it will totally cover the whole width of the back of my car.

Would it be ok to do this? I don't want to do this and then experience rattling because of the MDF over the top and face of my box. I know it will look nice (if done right) but i just want to make sure i won't be causing any problems.

oh, and what kind of MDF should i use for this? 1/2?

Hope you guys can help me on this. Thanks.

It probably wont make noise if you put it on really well... in my brothers bmw it looks like they used 3/4in mdf but since the plexiglass isnt thick enough it flexes and makes some noise but only because of the plexi.... so you should be good.
