well i had me a little wire burning...fire....problem

100$ later wires replaced. founf out my back battery grounded itself out and caught fire.

so now im needing to replace my circuit breaker.
i dont really neccasarly need a circuit breaker, but an inline fuse would work as well.

how do i tell what exactly i need>?

i have 2 battery's hooked up via an isolator ( ill get to that in a second) new post might i add

its 4 gauge wireing from the front battery to the back battery and then 4 ga to the amp as well.

looking from here. what do i need? honestly i dont know what a distrubution block is. all i know is the breaker was a phoenix gold 100A-4AWG VB100

    http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/PHOVB100

the reason i am replaceing it. the business that did my wire replacement said when he grounds the back battery out, that this breaker up front should pop. he said he tried it a time or 2 and the breaker would not pop.

if i completly lost you feel free to ask more questions. ill be here :)

I think I would go for a fuse. The fuse rating depends upon the amperage that your wire can safley have running through it.
