    Thanks to Ohio Mike for the Viper's. Just waiting on the new Head Unit (Kenwood KDC-X969) and the Music Keg (C910 20GB).

    Still seeing about the subs..

    Santa is a little behind here, It will be Monday before I get my components. :lmfao: I just picked up a new set of Crystal CPE60s for $68.00. :D
    They will be ran off a Lanzar Opti drive 100.2

    Cool stuff!

    I'm not going to get anything stereo-wise for Christmas, but I'm waiting on my new Sean Murphy Stage 2 carb to come instead. :D I've sold all of my remaining stereo equipment (subs) to other people for Christmas.

    Sandt38 is going to have to wait for the christmas present I sent to him... it's got no chance of making it by today... :p oh well.

    think its an AC DQX hmmm would love to test one of those out.... i like my eqt's tho.. i think i'll just stay with what i got.

    Not at all. I love my Cadence... But I want to do a dual sealed Brahma install and the 2400D will work perfect (2400X1@2). Besides, the trunk is going all black too, so think of how nice those amps would look in there... and those amps are damn sexy ;)...

    I'm like you too, if I get a Viper sub amp, I want a matching comp amp.

    as far as the SPLCamino, it will get a Z9000 and if I get Vipers, it will also get my Q3000 for the comps...

    That's just the Focal 165w3 Box, I wish it was a DQX. I'm just aiting until they put some kind of remote unit on it, and then I'll pick that up.

    I wasn't really planning on getting the Vipers, but got a deal for the two I couldn't pass up. I spent an hour or so taking th amps apart making sure everything seemed alright, and they do. I just can't figure out why they seem to be oriented the exact opposite from eachother.

    Does anyone know how to get the chrome/mirror piece off. I would really like to remove the Viper badge's and get the whole plate powder coated black.

    I think you'll be pretty happy with the 165w3s. I just installed mine and am amzed with the low end out of them along with clarty and detail.

    Oh interesting...

    Justin knows someone in my neighborhood here (i haven't a clue who this guy is... but after hearing of his... hmm... misunderstanding? "little issue?" :lol: I want to meet him...) who has a Viper 2500D...

    Remember this guy?

    He won his lawsuit against the local shop who did this, who promptly took his gear back... and sold them to this other guy in my neighborhood...
    Who also bought a 13W7.
    And thought it would be a good idea to bridge the 2500D to the 13W7 at 1.5 ohms.

    W7 or not... can you say "Poof!" :lol:

    I wonder if he'd be selling... or maybe partial-trading... for maybe a Z7000? (hint hint) ;)

    Heck, I'm half considering trying to get my hands on the dead 13W7, if it's available appropriately cheap, to build that frankenstein "xxX7" that I've always thought would really be the hot ticket... B)
