As The Title States, It Is Called A Noise Gate. When Properly Hooked Up, It Illiminates All Ambiant Noise When There Is No Music Coming Through The Speakers, There Is No Popping Sound When You Start The Car Or Turn The Ignition On. wow! i dont think anyone used a noise gate for at least 10 years. in a properly installed system there really should be no need for one. tried ebay yet?
Welcome! That popping noise could be your deck. Mine started doing that and i changed decks and it stopped. NOISE GATE
