Hiya folks, can someone please lecture me through the car audio history (from the simple car radio to the current mp3 players). I'm on a project and want to get my facts straight before I proceed. Thanks Franco ^_^
wow thats something you might want to look up on the web.you can try... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_audio cause thats a big aaasss topic. would be alot of typeing and is a ton of reading.good luck. from the little bit i saw it should help.
Well, it all started with the tube am radio..........now we are here.... that is a broad topic that would take ALOT of typoing and research....the advent of FM, then the 8 track, but lets not forget the creation of Quadrophonic, or even the DBX systems, how about the time that a reel - reel was put into the car.....Or better yet, the arrival of Digitial processing in the car............. wow, LARGE subject field!!!
a guy thought humm wonder what it would sound like with subs in my car since they sound good in my house then we have the jackhammer ahhaha
The jackhammer is for guys that DONT know how to build a box!!!!!!!! Crap, you could sit that thing on the floor in NO box and it would shake the ground!!!!
I wonder what would happen if I boxed it and tried to check it at baggage claim... sir whats in the box.. oh you know.. just a small tactical nuclear warhead.. oh ok.
damn man thought that would be obvious lol.. wrap it up and tell me it isnt about the size of a hellfire warhead lol.
i was just checkin yuh i def gotta chuckle outta it lol but you shouldnt say nuclear warhead on a forum... the govnt is watching....
Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb. You gonna arrest me? Bomb bomb bomb bomb! During the war I was a BOMBadier!
once again I am brain farting, what was the question? The article did not mention that Galvin was broke, he could not afford a booth at the 1930 Convention in Atlanta. He stayed in the parking lot with his radio blaring. Enough conventioners heard and saw the car radio. He got enough orders to start production on the radios.
