What company or companies make some of the better wire/cables these days? Not looking for the best rca's or power wire but something alittle better then average or low grade would be nice. I purchased some Earthquake 4 guage power wire online awhile back, maybe its me but it seems like there is way more insulation then copper wire! I'm all for a heavy coating of insulation surrounding the wire but it alomst looks like its 8g wire with 4g insulation surrounding it. Its been along time since I installed a car system, but it seems that even the quailty of cables/wires are not same as they used to be.
