My Car: 95 corolla Manual - speed Couple weeks back i replaced the tape deck and put my own speakers in, no problem. Front Speakers: Eclipse 6.5" SC6500 x2 Rear Speakers: Eclipse 4".6" SE4600 x2 Head unit: Eclipse CD5030 I wanted to upgrade so i asked the audio guy for a matching amplifier and subwoofer so i got: 1) Alpine PMX-T320 2 channel power amplifier ( 4ohms 50Wx2 and 2ohms 75Wx2) 2) Pioneer TS-WX303 10" Sub ( 1200W max, 250W Nom, Impedence 4 ohm) and i think its single voice coil, there is only 1 negative and positive output) Here my Check-list - Hooked up power + an - to amp from battery and ground retrospectively - connected the blue wire from amp to head unit which turns the amp on - connected to speaker red being positive and bridged it across the 2 channels -connected auxiliary input from back of head unit to amp So when i turn the headunit on the amp light comes on and looks like its happy but no sound through sub I think what im missing is the actual audio signal from the head unit to the amplifier which im not sure how to do ??? also read some forums of preamp outputs not sure if i have them or need them? Sorry for long post but am really frustrated
you wrote you connected an input to an input.. you need to connect a sub out to the amps input. the out puts would be labeled as such.. front: rear: sub: an in would read.. aux:
