I just purchased 2 brand new 12" TS-OX12 Audiopipe Subwoofers in a bandpass enclosure. Is that a good purchase? Im not looking to spend a fortune just something to give bass.

I'm not familiar with that company, but one of the best systems I've had was a bandpass.

Depending on what was paid for the setup makes a difference as well.

Hook it up and see for yourself, let your ears do the deciding.

What amp are going to use?

Well, its always good to keep the wattage of the sub or in your case, the combined wattage of your subs close to the wattage of the amp (ex: two 100 watt subs= 200 watts). This HELPS lower the risk of blowing your subs remember I said helps lol. A good amp to match would be of the same brand, audio pipe. Set the gane on the amp properly, iv been told put a 50hz sound track repeat, turn your volume on your radio up 3/4, and start playing with the settings. Its hard to say what it sounds like when your subs "distort" but when and if you can hear it, back your gain off a little bit and you all set. O yea, for the subsonic and low pass fillters, most prefure I think 5 for the subsonic and 160-180ish on the lowpass. Good luck
