can I paint my dust cap?

    title says it all lol. just wondering if it will change the performance of the sub or just simply flake off. thanks

    no...a little paint will not hurt......although over time it may cause degragation of the cone material....but who knows...I have done it bfore to make spks look good...never was a problem for me

    paint will not affect it whatsoever! if its a paper cone it will dampen up a little bit but other wise no!

    I airbrush and paint speaker cones and dust caps all the time. Never had a problem.
