I was lookin at one, and a buddy of mine has one, and he wants to sell it for $100. i was thinkin about gettin it. First of all, how much power is it, cause it said on the manual, and on cadences website, that 2 ohm power is 300 watts, tyhen right under that, it sayd 2 ohm mono power is 400 watts? It's a mono amp, so I don't know which number to believe. Is this amp worth $100, and will it run at 1 ohm? Thanks.

I just spoke with Mr. Sandt38 about this amp a few hours ago. According to Cadence's website, its 400x1 @ 2 ohms mono and according to Sandt, it is 1 ohm stable, and will double power at 1 ohm.

    Oh, and for 800w @ 1 ohm...why wouldn't you take it for 100 bucks?

That little amp will run 800 watts at 1 ohm? I don't know about that, but ok. It only has a 30 amp fuse in it. Does this fuse size need to be increased to run at 1 ohm? thanks.

I think sandt can better answer that question, but he did say you'd need to upgrade your inline fuse. I don't know about the fuses on the amp...
