    okay i need help purchasing a new amp
    right now i have a performance teknique 500 watt rms dual voice coil/4 ohm sub
    and a directed audio 250 watt rms bridged @ 4 ohms

    and i want a new amp around 400-500rms for around $90

    im sort of clueless when it comes to the ohm thing except that a mono amp at 2 ohms would run perfect for me

    so im almost down to 2 choices unless somebody else has any suggestions

    1)Boss GT1000M mono channel 400 rms @ 2 ohms-$97 with shipping
    2)just found it right now...Profile HA1000M 500rms x 1 @ 2 ohms mono channel

    i would like to know which would be better since i dont want to run TOO much power into my sub and burn it up or anything
    let me know please.thank you

    go for the profile.

    if you dont want to blow your sub then dont abuse it and it will live a long happy life.
