I'd like to know since i'm not too familiar with all the technical terms but basically I already have a Soundstream lilwonder 620 amp 4 channel amp hooked up to my 4 speakers. I'd like to bridge the 2 rear channels into a subwoofer, leaving the two front channels to amplify the front speakers and the head unit to power the rear speakers. so here's the specs of both the amp and the sub, would this work? is there enough power?

    Specifications
    Power 4ohm: 80 x 4

    Power 2 ohm: 155 x 4

    Power 4ohm Bridged: 310x 2

    X-Over Freq. -
    Dimension 390 x 52 x 205

    and the subwoofer

    •System Subwoofer box
    •Diameter (mm) 300
    •RMS Power 250 Watts
    •Max. Power 750 Watts
    •Sensitivity 2.83 V/m 91 dB
    •Frequency range Hz 35 – 500 Hz
    •Impedance 4 ohms

oh yeah thats a perfect match, when you consider impedance rise the amp will be giving the sub exactly what it needs. plus or minus a few watts.

what do you mean impedance rise? i'm just a bit confused since the sales guy said the 310x2 would be like putting 155rms of it into the sub. according to him this is okay to power a 250rms sub, it just won't be powered to its full capacity but it should work..
