Alright, about time, I'm gonna start making a box, but I do need some help with it, I've just been dickin around with BassBox Pro. So far it says that the box is 12 Cubic feet, with all this other stuff, I still have not measured my trunk, it's too late right now and my internet barely came up couple of hours ago.
The box and subs will fit in the trunk. If you don't know I have four Infinity Reference 1050w for a while now. Maybe if someone would have any ideas on how many ports and size, what hz to tune it to, any kinds of information for me to get. I'm not in a rush I'm still workin on gettin the Infinity 1211a, the amp to power them.

Yeah, it's pretty expensive, on Crutchfield it's 285 shipped, but I don't have a credit card and they don't take money orders, so I'm on a different site it's 366 with money order.

Oohh, now I get you, I would get one all those locations are in Florida. I talked to my mom, she has a Visa that you put money on, and can use it like that, so I'm gonna see if I can put like 300 bucks on it, then buy it, and I get free Shipping on the amp. Buying this off the internet is already getting me like 300 dollars cheaper.

You don't have a debit card?

I do think that is the card, but it works weird, she said she can only get her child support on it from my sisters dad and sometimes he's a dick and doesn't pay it.

But I know I'm gonna get the amp later on, maybe 1 month, 2 months tops. That's why I want to get my box built, this week I'm getting the tint, next week I'm installing the 5x7's and the 5 1/4's. Then I might buy a nice ass infinity amp from my friends dad, I think it's 800 w/ max, to power the speakers.
I'm trying to keep all of what I have Infinity except for the deck.

This might be a good idea, it's just kindof what I'm thinking of since I can not line them all in one row. If this will some how make it louder because it's not just a ported box, then I will do it, but you won't be able to see the subs. But the problem is I hate math, and I hate trying to figure out Net Figures, or what the box will look like ft^3. I know there is some mathmeticians on this site...... and this is why I hate math, now all this can be adjustable if anyone will help.
I mostly figured this out just by using the Technical Data that came with the sub.

    Thanks to people who help

you might get some cancellation from those subs all firing straight back, and at eachother, and venting through the same opening.. It just looks odd to me..

If you are set on that size, I would try dividing each one, and venting through the front plates, and offset them so that they are not firing directly at eachother... just my thoughts.

Maybe adding another cut out in the middle of the long... port right in the middle to seperate the two

As Hautewheeler stated, i too see potential issues with this design. What with the vents and woofers all emmiting sounds from the same opening.....Its like a bandpass, sort of but not really!

You may consider doing an actual bandpass enclosure....

Otherwise i would stick with a more conventional sealed or vented design.

well the ones i have sounded like crap due to a crappy pre made box.(got it before i knew better).

i have heard the polk DB sereies 12's at cuircut city, and they had some big bass output, but like it's been said before.it's all in the box.

now that i remember i had my old gxr's in my old pick up in a box made for them with only 45 watts each and they sounded great.

    again its all box.
