I plan to have my port in the front of my hatchback it will be very close to the backend of my car, only about 4" space between it and the back of my car, will this effect it?, it is facing towards the back, like my box is laying down and the port is facing the rear of my hatch and it has about 4-5" from the port to the back of my hatch (what i mean by back is not the side with the seats the side where my tail-lights would be)

    Thanks

I would try and put the port on the same wall as the subs are mounted to if possible, otherwise you will run into some phase problems. As long as you have at least 2-3 inches of clearance between the end of the port and the wall of the enclosure, you should be good.

so my port facing the back of my hatch with only 4" from the end of the port to my hatch is bad? ;)
