Box for 4 15s

    Well, I no ive posted quite of few different systems that i have been wanting. Well I traded my 12 for 4 q power 15s from a guy. They should be here friday. They will be powered by 2 sundown 2000s. Heres a pic of the box im doing. The square box in the middle is going to be a cut out and have q power in plexiglass with a led behind it. Its not the best drawing but im still learning on sketch up. Tell me what yall think. This will be going in my ford ranger and have trim panels around after the box is in so it will be completely walled off.

    damn man, that looks sweet as hell. when you getting the sundown amps in?? i've been looking at them too, but they are a bit pricey. did you see their trade in program they are doing??

    Im going to get them whenever i get my pell grant check for college. I cant wait to get them. Im definitely for sure about this system. The subs will be here friday and then i can start stripping the inside of the truck for some deadener.

    nice man, i want to buy some things with my pell grant too, but i feel like i should save it lol

    Yea me 2. Ill prolly keep half and save the rest. Lol. Im trying to decide would it be better to make 2 separate boxes since im running 2 amps.

    i think you should, just make sure they are the same. then it'll also be easier to carry in and out of the car

    Have any of yall ever heard of q power subs? I know a lot of ppl talking crap about them and that i shouldnt waste my time with putting them in my truck. LOL The price is cheap and they are loud. Im so ready to put them in and surprise a lot of people. :) :) I see lots of hair tricks coming.

    if youre going for head shaking SPL, hell u can achieve that with any entry subwoofer, crap or not! haha..the goal is to move as much air as possible, and with four 15s in a ranger, im pretty sure you could do that! i wouldn't worry too much about it! haha

    Im ready to get it done. This will be my biggest system ive done. I hope it turns out good and loud and gets low. Im hoping to be the loudest daily driver in my town. There is a guy that has 2 fi btl 18s in a box and he thinks hes the **** and hes only doing 147s on the meter. I told him hes doing some seriously wrong and hes got 2 4000ds.

    yeah it could be a lil louder, my buddy robbin has 2 IA 18's on 7200 watts and does 153 open 155 or so sealed up.

    its all vehicle dependent too kinda. 147's are still loud too you know.:lol:

    Yea, 47s are loud to. Im hoping to hit in the 50s in the ranger or very close to it. Im starting on it this weekend. I got a lot to do to it before its all done, but ill get it.:)
