I'm not familiar with them, but if my memory serves correctly they're decent.Have you already bought them?If not,I run Phoenix Gold RSD splits and for the money they're hard to beat.

I went ahead and bought the Bostons, I wanted a bit more sensitivity than what the Phoenix's had to offer. 92db for the Bostons vs 88db on the Phoenix. Four db is quite a difference with a 60 watt RMS amp. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Good choice for a lower powered system....you did your homework.

Boston has always had a good reputation. I doubt you are disappointed

I think you made a good choice.I was unsure of the power you had on hand,I should of asked.I'm putting 100 watts per side to my RSD's and they love it.

Yeah, I'm hooking them up to an Alpine V12-401, its got 60 watts RMS a channel. Not the most powerful amp, but its very clean and musical and suits my tastes very well.

I've got everything installed, wired up and have no noise whatsoever. It sounds pretty darn good IMHO. I've got a question though...go figure. Is it better to run the front components, the Boston S60's, in full range and let their passive crossovers take care of things, or run them in high pass and adjust the crossover in the Alpine V12 amp and why? I apologize for being a blithering idiot in advance but I'm trying to learn something about this stuff. Bt the way, the Bostons sound really good for a budget set-up.
    Thanks, Sam
