Does anyone know if this would fit properly in an 02 blazer , not trailblazer? http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/7700411/vpcsid/0/SFV/30046
Would something like this do well in 02 blazer? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21940_Kicker+TCVT102+-10TCVT102-.html or would I be better with a vented box,or 12" sub,or just a different style box? I'm trying to save as much space as possible.
i used to have a single L7 10 in my 96 jimmy. it did very well for such a small enclosure on 280 watts. that will work fine. i wouldn't pay that much for it tho.
Everyday set up. Nothing crazy loud or real boomy. I mostly listen to rock and metal. I was thinking with that box I could put it behind the rear seat and if I need to put the seats down for cargo I could turn it 180 and it doesnt take up much space. Also perfect size for an amp to go on on the back. Would you suggest 10 or 12? The amps I've been lookin at would be pushing around 300-400 at the sub channel at 2 ohms.
i always mounted my amps to the seat back;mounting the amp to the box would mean it could move around in the hatch. unless you strap it down. i had a ratchet strap i used to keep my tiny box from moving. you can see i do have an amp on the sub box in this pic, but it didnt stay long. it soon went to this..
I've been looking at the tcvt102 and this one ts10c2 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Brnnejna3eJ/p_2069TS10C2/Kicker-09TS10C2.html The ts10c2 is only a couple inches taller and deeper and actually smaller in width. It also can handle a little more power. I will probly be using a kicker zx700.5 amp(rated at 420 at 2 ohms but probly more). Anybody have any thoughts? I can get the ts10c2 for about 50 bux more , so don't pay attention to the prices in the links.
if it fits your application and you like it t will do fine. ive had an L7 in a small ass box and i liked it.
