Hey im new to the car audio scene but ive been doing alot of research and im wondering about powering two type-r 12's. Dont flame me if im incorrect i nice simple answer would be sufficient. Im wondering how i can get 500 rms to each sub on an amp. Im looking for an amp under 300 dollars. If anyone could help me out that would be great
welcome, ok to get 500 to each sub get an amp that can do at least 1000 x1 at either 1 ohm mono or 4 ohm mono. those are your 2 options with those subs. an amp under 300...look into power acoustik or crunch, audioque or even audio pipe. ive heard what all these can do. for the money they are good. there are several others too i cant think of right now tho. look for yourself and come back with a link and someone will chime in and tell you whether its good or bad.

its nice. im on the look out for more power for my sub stage. im at 500 now give or take. would like a lil more. just tying to save for one.
