okay, so i have 20g.s i need a new car. I want something used and with low miles and something fast and fun. what should i get?
2004 Acura TSX 2003 Acura TL 2003 Lexus IS 300 2003 Infiniti G35 2003 MINI Cooper S 2000 Mercedes-Benz CLK 1999 BMW M3
i looked into some of those cars. I like the acuras but the 03 tl is not sporty for me. I looked into a nice 06 rsx type s 6 speed with 7 k miles for 20Gs. how does that sound? any other cars? something fun to drive and fun to mod? again, i want SUPER low miles. Thanks again!
if you want something that is going to be fun to mod. Get a car with a factory turbo. It is much easier to mod cars like that. Look into a new Lancer Evolution or a WRX STi. AWD turbos will be the most fun cars to drive. After trying many cars the AWD turbo cars were by far the most fun to drive around.
ok, so right now it's between two cars. My dad wants a basic model 07 eclipse gs - 5speed and I want a 06 RSX Type S - 6 speed - 7k miles both cars are 20 grand. on the dot. the eclipse is stock and boring. the rsx is ... http://www.ncautoauction.com/detail-2006-acura-rsx-type_s-1587032.html and my dad's reason for not wanting the rsx is "it's used" but its only got 7k miles, its still NEW! but in reality, I know my dad doesn't like the car because its modified.
I personally would NEVER buy a new car......(unless I hit the lottery) I like the 1200-3000 dollar range...pay cash for it and drive it, then once in a while spend a few bucks on it too keep it running properly.....make more sense too me...... but, your pa seems to think that this new car is the way to go......well, you should get a nice warrenty with it, and even a few other perks like rebates and things like that.
This is what i would like to have, not sporty but a beautiful car to drive and lots of power. http://www.shopping.com/xPF-Chrysler_2004_Chrysler_Sebring
If its between the two cars (RSX & Eclipse) i would definately go with the RSX! I like the carbon fiber on that car (hood, trunk and fenders). Those kindof mods aren't cheap and should be considered and 7k on the odometer is like brand new without having to pay a heavy sticker price of a new car. Dave had mentioned the Evolution and WRX. Now those are real fun cars to drive! A LOT OF POWER!!! Even used though, it won't be that easy trying to find one for a cheap price and low mileage. Also be aware that the Lancer evolution is very basic inside and it has a very bumpy ride.
yeah, so i think thats everyone for the rsx. now I gotta talk my dad into it. he's the most stuborn person i ever knew. All he ever says to me is, "a new car is better" but it just makes me mad because thats not true. not ASways true at least.
ibanez, remind your dad about the depreciation of a new car. here's the depreciation of an 2007 Eclipse GS year 1 - $5,044 year 2 - $1,673 year 3 - $1,568 year 4 - $1,464 year 5 - $1,359 Total - $11,108 First year alone you lose 5g's! 2006 Acura RSX Type s 6 speed manual depreciation (stock) year 2 - $1,824 year 3 - $1,723 year 4 - $1,621 year 5 - $1,520
yeah...acuras, honda, toyotas, and lexuses have really good depreciation rates. I'd take the RSX over that GS any day...it'll run well over 200,000 miles if you take good care of it...I'd get rid of all that gay ricer body kit sh!t and those CF fenders...and that gay hood....sell all those parts
I just want to sell the damn fenders, those bitches are ugly! but i like the trunk and hood. maybe paint the roof black too, kinda two tone it, maybe.. any way. if I get that rsx.. my money is going into that engine bay.. ooo. HOT! lol thanks guys!
http://dailyjokeonline.com/winner.html got it right off of yahoo auto. they have depretiation forecasts there..
