Anybody out there familar with an old school sub called a linear bass vent? It consisted of 2 subs that mount facing each other, not really sure how they where wired, but would like to build this with a pair of 10's. A buddy had one many years ago with a pair of 8's, it really kicked, the set up did not require a box, it mounted in the rear deck panel of his ride with a vent for the sound bouncing of the back glass.
Um...either this setup was an infinite baffle on the rear deck or an isobaric loaded something lol. Have you googled "linear bass vent". I'd say to just buy/build a sub box...Infinite baffle setups sometimes sound good.
