Bad Seller Report

    Ben from Elemental Designs. I thought that we got along great. "Friends" even. Well about 3 months ago I ordered Edead. Lots of edead a total of 120 ft various v1 and v2. I called up ben personally at eD and talked to him said he would give a little bit of deal. I said great but i need it second day air for a show my co-worker and I were going to attend. Ok done deal right? no. I wait for the 2 day air shippment it never came in. So i call the following monday after the show. Oh there was a mistake in taking down the credit card number. Ok understandable. But dont you think that if a sale was made and something got misscomunicated that someone would have called me back?. Maybe he didnt have my number. But he had my address of the shop i work at and he could have looked that up via google. Ok so I ask him to go ahead and ship it anyway. Ok done deal. 2 weeks later still no show. We call back. Ben is busy. Not unlikly. So we leave a message. Actually we leave 3 messages total in a period of 3 days. Still no call of curtiousy or anything. So i let time go on and time go on. We still need this stuff. After several attemps of getting ahold of ben and everytime he's busy. Its starting to become a fishy story. So one day as i am browsing and post on the forums I see been posting and browsing the general forum. So i think HEY he cant be busy. I call him up and guess what. HE'S BUSY. So now i belive he is just playing me off. Still now 3 months later not a single call from ben or Elemental and no eDead. Do i still want it? NO I will find another Alternative. I just wanted to express my bad dealing with eD.

    Take it for a lot of with a grain of salt.

    For me I will never order from that company ever again.

    I had a bit of an eDead dealio with Ben as well, but if he did ship it, it got lost in the USPS mail, and he had to resend more via UPS, which it got to me safe and sound. I'm glad Ben's hired on some more people like Jeremy and Eric, I'm hoping it'll make up for his faults so to speak. Back about a year ago when I was "in tight" with Ben, it seemed like he felt he could put friends on the backburner to take care of customers who paid the full price. I'm running ED stuff now, and I'm a customer, full paying, so I think I'll get taken care of. Sad that it's like that, and from all accounts I thought Ben had turned his act completely around. Hate to hear stuff like this. Was the card ever charged? If it was I'd be raising hell, if not, just cancel the whole deal and do like you said, look elsewhere. Some raamat or peel and seal will do the job just as well.

    if he did get charged, its too late...cant charge back 3 months after being charged.

    No but it still should be reported

    ALL credit cards and paypal REQUIRE all product be shipped out 7days after payment is processed

    if the merchant can not do that, the charges should be refunded and then recharged once the product is ready to ship

    that is the policy on every merchant agreement I have ever read, and the penlties for violating that policy is termination of the merchant account ;)

    Whoa, you actually read those things? LoL Guess I better start paying more attention to my rights as a customer, definantly learn something new everyday. Thanks for the heads up Michael.

    PS: Anyone else notice how this turned into a HUGE deal on "another" forum? Somehow Scott is the bad guy? Whats up with that? I've known Scott for a while now and he's one of the nicest guys I know. Apparently posting this at all is "badmouthing eD all over the net" and means for public stoning, just like the good ol days back in 200 BC or something :lol: I'm with you man, if you say you're going to do something, do it. If you aren't going to do it, don't ever mention it at all. Just my .02 cents.

    well, this should be actually titled Bad Customer Service than seller... and not to inflame this somehow touchy thread, I have talked to Ben once and gotta admit that his helpers are much easier to deal with... just my 2 cents...
