i have seen a few Atomic subs around at a couple shows, has anyone heard them or messed with them at all?

I ask because two 15" hit 160.8 in a CRX with 1000w per, which i thought to be pretty good. I couldnt find out much on the web so i thought i'd ask yall (yall = you all for the ones born north of the mason-dixon).

I have not heard that name in years

Was this a New sub or a old sub still out there beating? Last I heard Atomic Audio was out of business.... maybe they have been resurrected

There is an Atomic Car Audio near me. They do have Atomic branded subs. Never really checked them out though.

so i got a couple of the 12" Manhattan series subs (2nd from bottom after Energy).

The box is a 1.75ft3 per sub ported box tuned to about 36Hz, in a bright green Hyndai Tiburon with one of those nice 3 foot wings on the back....one Rockford something or other 700w amp driving them both, with the RMS being 500w each.

They are loud. Very loud. I wish i had a meter, but i dont have $3000 laying around just yet, i would guess these might break 150 if not by much. Between 145-150 definately, and im thinkin if i can pursuade him to let us hook a 1600w HLabs to the subs they would get even louder.
