so im riding in my jeep and i hear this rattling noise. really annoying. i figure its something dumb and plan on getting it sound proofed sometime. so today i decided to really see what the noise was. i turned it up and went to the back of my hatch...i didnt see what you saw in the pics first i just saw a sub bouncing up in the air like crazy. scared the crap out of me. I plan on building a new box soon but i dont when. how do i make sure this dont happen again? i plan on getting 3/4" mdf but what else should i do to prevent this?

looks like the heads of the screws your using are too small and are going right through the mounting holes in the subwoofer and not holding the sub anymore.

well stronger screws didnt work lol. i think i need a whole new baffle board cuz that board is all cracked where the screws sit. i guess the next update will be when i get a new box. as soon as azn gives me a new build so i can tell what my cut sheet will look like.

you could do a quick fix with some silicone. make sure you have solid threads. that matters most. also a t-nut would help as well.
