oh yeah and would the mono be a better idea, like i said still really new to all of this http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/pg/product/details/0,,2076_310069935_291600295_tab=B,00.html?compName=PNA_V3_ProductDetailsComponent
In what you have posted, the mono amp would be the best choice in this situation. Each of the woofers is 4 ohm, you want 2 of them, therefore this will create a 2 ohm load to the amp. The stereo amp is only stable to 4 ohms in bridged mono, the MONO amp is stable to 2 ohms, the load you will give it. As far as power goes, each speaker is rated at 250 watts RMS. The amp is 600 watts. that means each speaker will get 300 watts of clean power, thats what ya want, should make a good combination.
so im curious what kind of car is it going in. I know those pioneer subs are very low profile. Was wondering myself what they sounded like.
i got a 2006 scion xb, while i have some room in the back i like a clean look and dont like a big ol gawdy box in the back of my box, there is a small cargo compartment that im gonna clear out and put a custom box in, should be fun, i'll be sure to post pics and let ya know how it goes
