I have these and they are set to 4ohm cannot change the setting unless I have someone come pull the back glass out of the car. So 4ohm is where they are. I will have to wire the best with 4ohm setting. I installed them a long time ago while we were restoring car was not sure what amp I was getting so I just set to 4 and went with it.

I may have to go with 4ohm hook up I guess this would be ok also just would like to get best way with what I have.

4 ohm stereo would be the way to go as it sits now.

now if they are set to 4 ohm then i'm assuming they are dual 2's.

is there no way you can get to them from inside of the trunk or are they in an enclosure?

you cam also find a right angle screw driver to take em out and change them.

Not enough room to lift out of hole. They are in a enclosure.

i guess if you wanted to you could cut an access hole in the back of the box to re-wire the subs.

but a 4ohm stereo load should be fine. if not get a bigger amp or cut the hole(as much as i would hate for you to have to do.)

yep, Pedro is right. You could cut an access hole there and just seal it back up real good. that would do the trick rather than having to remove the glass or buy a bigger amp. Simple and cheap.

    Good call Pedro.
