Hello. I am new here. I am running a Kenwood Exolon head unit and when I hook the input cable from the sub out to the sub amp the speakers "flutter" or move back and fourth very quikly. But when I hook the same amp to the rear output they work fine. Anybody ever had this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds like there may be a problem with your sub preout.

basically there was just a double thread, i should've posted it in the one he has going in the new member forum. no need for two of em. plus i removed my answer because i realized he said his amp works off the rear output so it has to be based on the rca wire or headunit. maybe the ground for the headunit is interferring with amp on that specific output?? haha i dunno maybe run a new ground for your headunit.

This sounds like an open ground trace on the sub pre-outs. Usually caused by poor amplifier grounding.
