when ever im listening to music and it hits a certain level of bass my amp will just turn off and/or stop working..i thought maybe the ground wire was coming loose with big thumps of bass but its tight..and when i turn the stereo off and on again its fine until i turn it loud again..any idea with whats going..thanks ps i have a explod amp and Pioneer Premier sub
Well either you have your amp wired at a lower impedance than it can handle or that your a noobie(explode amp is a dead giveaway) and have your gains set incorrectly and the amp is going into protection. Learn how to set your gains correctly and you won't have this problem.
what ohm are you running the sub at i think the sony can only go to 2ohm some are 4 only, the make sure the wires off the cspeaker col are not touching when the speaker hits if so u must insulate them. and check battery voltage if the battery is low it will not handle the load
