hi i have everything wired correctly my subs will hit at low levels from like 1-10 or 1 depending on the song. they hit very very lightly like they should at these low volumes as soon as i turn it to 16 or so all lights clip and protect turn on before the subs even get a chance to hit at the desired volume. it is almost as if the deck sends a signal to the amp to o in protect mode and clip b4 it even has a chance to try and bump it i cant take it anymore. i have checked all fuses amp deck 12V. evertything seems to be A ok but this happened b4 it was only my pos 12V was loose tightened up it was fine thats not the problem this time

to find out why your amp is going in protect, you have to start taking things out one at a time to see what is the problem. start by checking all connections (power, ground, RCAs, speaker wire), also make sure that you have the subs wired correctly, if you arent sure, you can always just google a wiring diagram.

if you have checked all of your connections and its still going into protect, get the amp in its bare state, take out everything except the power, ground, and remote wire. see if it still goes into protect, if not, add the RCA, test it and that works fine, then you know its going to be something with your speaker wire (sub wiring). then if that doesnt work, you know your problem is elsewhere. hope this helps man
