i have a Chevy Trailblazer Ext w/ 2 10" Alpine Type R (DVC2ohm)subs mounted in a ported enclosure. i believe the enclosure is 3. c/f tuned to 35hz. I currently have an Alpine MRP-M850 amp(800x1@2ohm), but something doesnt seem right. Maybe underpowered im thinking. Im curious to see what amp everyone would recommend for this setup. The ones ive been looking into are:

(the subs are older approx 06/07)

    Kicker w/bass control knob
    ZX1000.1(2010)
    ZX1000.1(2008)

Alpine w/o bass control knob (not avail)
    MRP-M1000(2010)
MRP-M850(2006/07)matches current amp,i'd run 1 to ea sub.

    Hifonics w/ bass control knob
    BRZ1700.1D(2010)

any idea how to take box build specs to get the enclosure airspace and tune freq. I want to double check the box. i had someone else design my box.

If you want to stay on a budget, go with the Hifonics all though they are really made for competition they still are used in daily use cars and they pack a lot of power.

If you want clean quality power go with the alpine, There small design and running cool are a plus not to mention they are usually under rated a lot.
