Its annoying as f***. I just got it when I changed to my used Kenwood KVT-512. Should I run a new ground, get a ground loop isolator, or ground the RCA's? Ideas guys, this is annoying as hell.

Id just try a new ground for the HU and go from there. Since your considering grounding the rca's im assuming that you have an amp on your door speakers?

Engine noise can be fun to deal with...not!

Lets start at the basics. unplug the ant. connector. Does the noise go away? Then unplug the RCAs, does it go away? Disconnect the factory ground wire and see what happens. What my point is we need to track down and isolate the problem. Noise in a sytem can be radiated by RF fields in the vehicle, and by ground loops. We need to know what direction to go then we can do what is needed to stop the problem
