well im finally selling my ps2, so i should be getting some funds for a new woofer. the alpine R. is about 20$ cheaper than the kicker l5. can i get some opinions on the sound quality of these subs. im also looking for that deep base.
I've had a couple of Type R 12's...in the right box...they can get loud and DEEEEPP. Sound quality is a lot better than a solobaric
thats awsome, the kind of help i need. iv herd the l5 and was impressed. but i have herd that the sq on them can be better. thanx for getting to the point sometimes people ask for help on diffrent brands (including me) and the responce is what sounds good to you, make your own disision. well sometimes these things arnt avalable to us to hear. i do most of my shopping online, anyways thanx for the help and anymore sugestions on the 2 woofers
yea i like the Type Rs i men the L5s are good subs but i heard 2 type R 12s and loved it i would definately go with the alpines just my opinion
i was thinking of a single 10 alpine type r. in a ported box. single becouse im a little tight on space, im also able to do ported on the alpine, but not the kicker itl be twice as big of a box. i also have a punch 800a2 ill be using with the gain about 3/4 up.
