Hoping someone here has some experience with this unit. I just installed it and can't get it to sound correct. I'm unsure if I have the inputs from the factory head unit wired correctly. There are 4 inputs in the Alpine labeled R1,R2,L1,L2. I have 4 speakers in the car (one in each door). So I have right front to R1, Right rear to R2, Left front to L1, Left rear to L2. Now when I listen to the ipod, cd, or xm radio it sounds ok. Not great but Ok. when I listen to a normal radio station, all of the sound seems to come from the left front speaker with a little from the others. Also, regardless of source, if I use the fader on the head unit to change from front to back it doesn't seem to work correctly, thus leading me to think I've got something wired wrong.
