Has anyone used the alpine ktp-445 power pack? Its a small amp that plugs into the back of newer alpine decks to supply 45 watts to 4 speakers. I want to know if the small gauge wires from the wiring harness on the alpine deck and stock speaker wires can handle the upgraded power. Would it be a good idea to get better speaker wires with the power pack? I know this may not be a true amplifier, but is it good for 60 watt rms speakers? I have 4 kicker ks680's PHP: , and I would rather not spend the extra money on a true amp for these entry level speaks.
You should be fine with the factory wires. The Alpine PowerPack was designed to work with the all the factory stuff.
