Alpine IVA-200Ri Power Supply Harness.

Hiya guys, i new to the forum, dont know alot about ICE, but hoping someone can help me out here. Im in need of a power supply harness for my newly aquired Alpine IVA-W200Ri. (Purchased it second hand and guy didnt have the PSH). Ive called everywhere locally that retails Alpine parts, but non of them list one for it.

I was under the impression that Alpine only make 2 harness's, white & black sockets. The one for the W200Ri is black, but they are telling me that a regular Alpine black socket harness (AHU-3509) wont work and could mess up my unit? Is that true? They are saying i need another one which is like £40 from Alpine, and i'll have to order it especially.

Now, ive looked on eBay at pictures of the harness in question, and it looks no different to a regular Alpine black socket harness to me. Also ive examined the wiring harness diagram from the W200Ri User Manual, and it all seems to be the same as a regular harness. So am i being ripped off here or is there truth in what they are saying.
