As many of you know I got an Alpine IDA-X200 for Christmas. And I did like the unit. Its almost the perfect Ipod Controller.

    But it had a problem

So Alpine did agree to replace it with the Alpine IDA-X303

Now I have to say, I liked the looks of the IDA-X200 a little bit more than the IDA-X303, but the IDA-X303 does not have that back button problem. It seems to work like its supposed to.

Now, the IDA-X303 is nearly the perfect Ipod controller. Searches are fast and easy. It works just like the Ipod does. The only down is the display. It has a limited number of characters. This problem could be fixed with the IDA-X305.

Some may complain about the lack of radio preset buttons, but I have not tuned it to a radio station yet. So I could care less.

I just added the KCE-433iv cable. (Its too short). I need an extension, so if anyone know about this extension let me know

This way I can use the USB input and the cable will be hooked to the ipod.
