The problem started by some keys in the front panel not working, latter the problem became more worse by taking more time to switch on.slowly all the switch's became dead. still when we press the switches beep sound is coming out.same when using remote.

I took my stereo to a technician and he told the problem is with front panel strip which connects front panel with main board.I've replaced the damaged one with a genuine new part. stereo started working normally. But after 2 or 3 days stereo is coming back to the same problem again. please help me to solve this problem.

At present it is taking 1 or 2 minutes to switch on and the only key which is working is source/power.Disc is not getting read.while pressing the source/power button the display will change from Disc to Tuner...n so on.... plz help me....

    thnxxxxxxxxx....

car stereo technician people helped me to change the front panel strip.

After that stereo worked normally for abt 2 days again da same problem is coming back.

I'am getting confused thinking what is the real problem.

The stereo is 4 yrs old so getting warranty is not possible.
plz help me to solve this..

i meant go back to the people that fixed it. they should have some kind of warranty.

    the problem
they told me is its difficult to get the spare part wen i gave them for the first time. and they can't get that particular part.
so i managed to get it from us spending about 28$ including parcel charge.
and they changed the strip in presence of me only.

so there no doubt about weather they changed the part or not.
but again the same problem even after spending that much money. and Iam getting confused what is the real problem, is it anything else?!,it worked normally for 2 days after changing the strip.whatz the real cause..!..oh God...

anyway i will check it with them once more/...
    you got any suggestions?

sorry, but my suggestion would be to start looking for a new head unit. I've gone through repairing my head unit before only to find another problem. Fact is, you may spend even more fixing your current head unit so quit while you're ahead and invest in a new one..
