Alright, got the cobalt, I'll take some pictures tomorrow. and azn, talk about trunk space! You could fit a pair of skis in there! but for the time being, I can't purchase anything to upgrade my stock sound system due to the fact that I had to replace my cell phone and it cost me almost $400.00 dollars But I have those 6x9's that I never put in my jeep that I might put in there just to give the 4 speaker system some extra help in the bass dept for the time being. until I get a dedicated sub setup. then the coax's in the stock setup become the mids' the 4 6x9's become my midbass and then I'll get some tweeters to complete the setup with 2 12"s. Running on a 3 Amp setup and x-overs on all of them. (THat however is neither here nor there) What I'm wondering is a simple question. The 6x9's, my options are 8ohms or 2ohms which should i do?
06 they will fit yeah, the back ones are 5x7's I think But the owners manual doesn't tell you how to remove the panels.
hahah I'm an idiot, once I figured out how to get the seats down (t lever, don't know why I didn't get that) but now it will be cake to get it done tomorrow
oh and another thing, how in the world do I get down the seat belt holders for the front seats without causing any damage, I already broke 3 torx bits and it still didn't get them off
BEcause I need to get off that whole panel to raise the back deck up, it's all connected so I can't get one panel off without taking the rest of them off unless I want to break them all. When the designers at Chevrolet thought about speaker setup clearly access to the speaker wires wasn't the main issue of concern.
ooh i know what your talking about now,.....duh !!!yeah i had to do the same thing to get to my rear 6x9's. have you gone to a parts store yet to look. i just happened to have a 6mm allen head bit that went in and worked fine for me.
well it's a t50 but They haven't ever been removed and they broke off 3 of my bits due to the sheer force that I had to put on them. So I think a breaker bar may be in order
yup u have 2 pull on these levers and then fold them downmy buddies has a colbalt SS supercharged its a beauty and i got a cavalier wich u gotta do the same thing 2 get the seat down the lever is in the trunk next 2 the hinges 1 for each side
