im going to buy some new stuff for my car (93 duster if it matters) History of what i had it was my dad's and when he bought it (17 years ago) he put in all of this an alpine deck alpine amp for the front (i dont know anything about it except its a 2 channel because its in the dashboard.) the front amp powers 2 woofers (5.25) and 2 tweeters with alpine crossovers amp for the back: alpine 250rms 2 channel amp the amp powers 2 infinity 6 by 9 speakers the car was given to me this year and the deck died so i replaced it with this the front woofers are blown the backk infinities are about to take a crap so that leaves me with 2 amps (old) 2 tweeters (old) 2 crossovers (old) and my head unit (new) i want to buy this amp http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-V-Powe...ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1265410410&sr=1-138 replace the 6 by 9 infinities with these http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-SPR-69...1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1265409899&sr=8-1-fkmr1 and replace the blown woofers 5.25" with these http://www.amazon.com/Alpine-SPR-13C-Coaxial-2-Way-Speaker/dp/tech-data/B000NVD1YS/ref=de_a_smtd the plan is to power the new 6 by 9s with the amp i want to buy (bridging it to make two channels) then putting the 2 front speakers (5.25 alpines i want to buy) on the crossovers with the old tweeters and powering them with the 250W amp i already have and if the crossovers ever die or the tweeters die, the alpine 5.25s are 2 ways so its no big deal. any reason why i should NOT do this? i listen to bands like megadeth, iced earth, and shadows fall. so getting that double bass pedal is important to me. (i will consider adding a sub in the future, whether that means another amp or not) but i also listen to some rap and some quiet music (acoustic guitars and what not. ) thanks EDOT: answered my own question nevermind, let this thread fade away
