    Man Fi makes some good ole subs, those BTL's are mean mean mean little drivers.

    i just had a thought. that sub and port must do a number on the back seat in the up position.^_^

    Yea those are some sick subs. For my next system, i may get 2 fi btl 15s and put them in the wall im getting ready to build for my vegas.

    Nice setup. It must be crazy loud in that car. I hope i can bring the sub right up like yours in my next car.

    Scott's always done work, I think he started RE Audio, worked with Dan Whiggins at Adire, I think Kevin Haskins of Exodus too? Chad/Dale of Ascendant :(

    By far the best sub setup I have ever, ever heard... and it's hooked up TERRIBLY at the moment! LOC converter, 2ohms on a .5 amp, terrible box flex (workin on allthread now) "wall" not sealed off so vented facing forward....

    the bottom of the hatch slopes down about 1", the top up significantly more... but when we put the box in, it sat forward, was gonna be 3" clearance, now I cant even put up the side in front of the sub far enough to make it click, and it would hit if I could :(

    probably not a permentnat box, was a test box to get me by for now anyway so I can take my time for the 22" IB3 :p

    Ya, to me any sub with high Xmax and low Fs is good, no matter what BS title or label it is given... I may go a step further just to make a point and build a tiny sealed box for it and wang the **** out of it if I get a dual 1 recone or a Kicker 2500.1

    "IB" my ass. SPL, I can understand. EPB/EBP... yadda yadda...

    actually it's not loud at all. I need to get a dual 1 ohm recone or a Kicker 2500.1 and keep it at single 2 ohm...

    I had a setup like that in my taurus i had, but i just put one piece of wood right across and sealed it off because my back seats folded down and there was a huge hole into the trunk. I was too lazy to build the whole box. It was an elemental designs 18" with an orion hcca 2100, That was sick but they both ended up frying after 4-5 months. Maybe because of your tuning you are probably losing like 20 db. You should get into bassbox pro, i think you will find you can still hit low when tuning higher.
