6x9s or 6.5 round with adapter plate?

    Basically, my stock 6x9s in my new car arent making the cut. Ivs already decided to upgrade.. but the stock size is 6x9. Ive also seen some adapter plates on ebay to fit a 6.5" in the stock position.

    Looking for some advice on which way to go. what do you guys think??

    6x9's unless your wanting a more high frequency producing speaker imo

    is this for a rear deck or front door?

    if rear deck then just upgrade to better 6x9's.
