My buddy's dad just bought a 93 t-bird the other day, and he is complaining about the speakers sucking. i told him that id see what i could do to find him some inexpensive stuff. keep in mind that im doing the installation as a favor...not charging him--if that tells you the budget. i was thinking maybe the lightning audio coax 2-way 6x8's would work, but if we can do better for roughly the same price, or roughly the same performance for a bit less money, then its definitely a plus. thanks, eric
Nizzy Look at the ZX681 They are very nice, and worth way more than their $70 asking price. They will do well off HU or amp power.
My local Good Guys has the JL XR coaxes on clearance for $99. I don't know if that's in the same league (budget wise) as the LA coaxes, though. Before deciding on comps for my Ranger (6x8 stock), they were the best 6x8's I'd heard.
