Sup guys, I was looking at some 5.25" components and was wondering if anyone has heard any of these speakers. On a budget for these so we are looking at 60 or so bucks max per set. I know it isnt going to be the best quality but just need something to play music as there is nothing in there at the moment. Wanted components to at least bring the soundstage up. Also, they are either going to be running off a HU 22rms or maybe a small amp.. 40-50 rms. So don't really want high wattage speakers.. even the PG is kinda above what is going to be available. YEARS ago, we carried Clarion....What really surprised me was the SQ for the price. We sold a set of 5 inch componenets that were el cheapo's, at arounf 60 or 70 bucks a set....They sounded like a 200 dollar set of componenets in the demo board....Used them in a few instalss that I can remember....they did quite well in the car and i believer they sere run on either deck power or a small amp, been a while though....I do know i liked the sound of them....but again it was YEARS ago...
