    hello Audio Gods,
sorry for the dumb newb question, but my battery terminal i picked up (scosche) has allen key screw ins for the 4 gauge wire input. Do i just strip wire & tighten these down , or is there a better connector needed for the end of the wire that the allen key can clamp down on? It just seems the wire spreads around the screw & doesn`t seem very secure like this.
    Gracias

what i did with mine is I just stripped the wired and screwed it down with the allen key. You could also try tinning the wire before putting it into the terminal.
