2 Ohm sub

    Is there any way to make a 2 ohm DVC sub woofer be seen as 2 ohms at the amp?..

    sorry .. no. 2 or 1 ohm with that sub.

    run it on just one channel of a 2 channel amp.....no other way

    The only way is to run one coil and thats not the way to go. just run a 4ohm load. In right encloser you'll be fine, but to get the max out of your amp you'll need a different sub.

    I do not really understand how ohms work. I have a 2 ohm Kicker sub, its a Kicker enclosure so it's pre-wired from the box terminals to the sub and it says 2 ohms by the terminals. Is this presented as 2 ohms to the amp?
