I have 2 Thunder 5500 tens wired at one ohm hooked up to a Thunder 3202 amp... I had a question about my highs sounding horrible, and it was my amp, because here comes my other question.. I jus got a 250 watt Road Gear amp.. Doesn't sound bad hooked up by itself, but it goes to protection after hitting one good low.. I'm guessing it's from how tha subs are wired.. But I wanna hook both tha Road Gear and MTX up to both subs, but when I do, the Road Gear goes straight to protection mode, nothing playing.. i unhook tha MTX, and it works fine.. My question is, can I hook up both amps to both subs? And if so, how?

Oh and I've been over unhookin everything and usin one amp for each sub, but tha 3202 is only like 200 watts bridged.. So it wouldn't sound too good that way..

I dont think ive ever heard of anyone doing that before. But to answer your question, no you cant hook both amps to the subs at the same time. You can hook 1 amp to 1 sub and the other amp to the other sub. If you hook them both up at the same time they will fight against each other, I know your trying to get more power by doing this but thats not the way it works. Just buy 1 bigger amp or maybe add another sub.
