Thats nice. My Mustang is getting painted a silver color so we may have matching 'stangs soon lol. Is that box built to the back of the seat or is it just on that little inset?

its built to the back of the seat and all the way up.. the box is roughly 2.6cu.ft sealed... the new alt hasnt come in so I dont know how loud it is... but the highs are really nice. yea I love the silver... I just got it washed and hand waxed

Thats cool, I had been thinking about doing something like that myself I made a design now I just gotta do it and get another 10. If you have the chance could you take some pics of the alternator install cause thats something I have been thinking about doing especially if I get another sub and comps and stuff.

Doesn't make sense to me. It would see you have done everything correctly to run your system. I couldn't see you needing a bigger alt and you have a very good battery. I couldn't see any reason it shouldn't work, but I'm no expert. Maybe a 2nd battery will run it fine.

hmm whats the condition of the batt? check your grounds plus any and all wiring. usually its something simple.

is the 150 amp alt new? what i mean is was it brand new or rebuilt. I can't see where anything would be hooked up wrong, could be the battery, but if the alternator is going out, that would happen. Thats exactly what happened with mine. My alternator was slowly melting.. haha

the battery is brand new and so is the alt... I will add the second and looking into re-winding the alt. to like 200 amps... cause im running almost 2500watts.

that is a big current draw, so im sure adding a second battery will do the trick.

my uncle works at a shop the rebuilds and builds alternators and he said he might be able to swap out the copper coil cores with something that will put out around 220 amps which would be 145 at idle and 220 while driving so that plus another batt should work it out? I did the math and its 2380 watts.
