    Hello all
I have been browsing these forums for a little while and just decided to sign up.

I want bass in my single cab Ute.
I don't have much room at all but i am willing to build the box in between the seats and behind them.
I can't fit 12 inch subs in between the seats.

So i decided to go with two 10" inch subs or two 8" inch subs.
After listening to a fair few brands ect i have decided i would go for two 10 inch Digital Design 1510's. But i am not sure if i will have enough room for two 10's so i was looking at two 8's the 8's will be Digital Design 1508's you can look at the specs below.

    http://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/09/woofer09_1500.asp

I don't really have a price limit because i will build the box to suit the subs and save up for what subs i want.
I have drawn a quick picture of the box i plan on making for the subs.

    What do you think?

    Thanks

cool. how much space will it end up with inside?

my old L5 10 worked great in a .88cf box. and even better in a 2.0cf ported box.

    Sensitivity (dB 1w/1m) 86.8
    Frequency Response (Hz) 24-100
    Mounting Depth (IN.,CM) 6-1/4, 15.9
    Mounting Cutout, Square (IN.,CM) 9-5/16, 23.7
Min Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) .66, 18.7
Max Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) 1.0, 28.3
Min Rec Vented Box Volume (CU. Ft., Liters)** 1.25, 35.4
Max Rec Vented Box Volume (CU. Ft., Liters)** 2.25, 63.

    Or

    Two 8" Kicker L7's
    Model Solo-Baric L7 8

    Size (IN.,CM) 8, 20.32
Impedance (OHMS) 2 or 4 DVC
Max Rec Amplifier Power (WATTS PEAK/RMS)* 900/450
    Sensitivity (dB 1w/1m) 83.6
    Frequency Response (Hz) 28-100
    Mounting Depth (IN.,CM) 4-3/4, 12.1
    Mounting Cutout, Square (IN.,CM) 7-1/4, 18.4
Min Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) .33, 9.4
Max Rec Sealed Box Volume (CU. FT., Liters) .75, 21.2

id do the 8's. they have more cone than a round 8 and can get nasty loud in the right box and wont need a ton of space.

    I cant eithe fit...
    Two 8"Kicker L7
    One 10" Kicker L7

you CAN or cant fit those?? your post says cant.

if its "can fit" then do the 8's. they have more cone area than a round 8. 64c inches compared to 50c inchs of a round 8.

I would go with the two DD 1508a's if you have the space for porting them

both are good. it boils down to which will fit the best and which ones are in your price range.
