Hey guys....Been a while since I have posted....Question. My step daughter purchased a Pioneer AVH-X1500DVD head unit. She got no wire harness. The car is a 2007 Cobalt coupe, with no on-star and no pioneer factory system. Is there a way to basically wire it in with power, ground, memory and the 4 speakers without the expensive interface? I've been working on my Masters Degree so I have very little time any more. I think you can use the Metra 70-2104 harness. You will need to find an accessory power, but other than that it should work. But the interface, in my opinion, still would be a better idea.
Well at first I told my step-daughter that it would not work in her car and as a last resort i would need to put it in my tahoe...That did not go over so I called Crutchfield and got it for half price...It's on the way...
